The Los Angeles Nea Mantineia Chapter #102 invites you to their 28th annual "Alosis tis Tripolis" celebration. The gala dinner/dance will be held on Saturday, October 1st at the Saint Sophia Cathedral, 1324 Normandie Ave, Los Angeles. The social hour begins at 6 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm. Dinner includes traditional Greek food and desserts. The cost is $80 for adults, $40 for youth (under 25), and $25 for children under 12. The entertainment will include live Greek music by "Synthesi".

The San Diego Tegea #101 Chapter is hosting their annual Destiny of Distinction Scholarship Dinner Dance on October 8, 2016 at St. Spyridon's Cypress Room, 3665 Park Blvd. The social hour begins at 5 pm and dinner is served at 6 pm. This year the Arcadian of Distinction honoree is Adrienne Robas Bell, and the Scholars of Distinction are John Kounelis and Ellie Meck. Dinner includes a traditional plate of lamb and moussaka. The cost is $75 for adults and $25 for children. The entertainment will include live Greek music.

Please download this important letter from the National PFA Headquarters. It has information about delegate registration deadlines, as well as a schedule of events. Some key points are as follows:
- Delegate registration forms and fees are due by August 20th. The registration fee is $225
- Cut-off date for Sheraton Suites Chicago Elk Grove hotel reservations is September 29. The room rate is $125 plus tax.

They are planning a young adult forum during the convention and are looking for representatives from each chapter. I think that is a great idea and we should have at least some representation from the West. Note that we still do not have a Western District PFA Youth Representative on our District Lodge. Please let me know if anyone from your chapter will be able to attend the youth forum.
