It is time for the annual San Diego Arcadian dinner dance and scholarship fundraiser, Destiny of Distinction. It is time to renew friendships and catch up after a long summer. Once again your family and friends can expect a delicious prime rib dinner, live music, entertainment, prizes, and lively conversation.
Join us as we celebrate an evening honoring our Arcadian Family of Distinction, the Georggin Family, and Scholars of Distinction Michael A. Balourdas and Alexi J. Rigopoulos.
This will be an exceptional evening for your entire family to participate in honoring our culture, our youth, and recognize an outstanding family who have contributed much to our comminity throughout the years. Cocktails begin at 5:30 with dining and dancing to follow all for $55.

The United Arcadians of San Francisco #35 will be celebrating their 81st year on Saturday, October 5, 2013. The celebration will feature a show of Arcadian entertainment with folk music and dancing. Entertainment directly from Valtetsiniko, Tripolis, Greece will include the Father-Son team of Christos Ntavelis and Giannis Natavelis. They will be accompanied by members of the local band "Fotia".
The dinner dance will be held at the Patio Espanol Club Hall, 2850 Alemany Blvd in San Francisco. Cocktails will start at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. Entree choices include prime rib, salmon, or vegetarian, with wine included. The cost is $75 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.

The Saturday night dinner event has just been confirmed by Host Chapter Chairman Kostas Kapogianis. The dinner will be held at Gladstone's restaurant, which is within walking distance from the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach. Gladstone's restaurant is located at 330 S. Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802 (562-432-8588). The dinner price is $70 per person (same price for delegates and guests).

Please elect your chapter delegates for the conference according to your 2012 membership and submit the Western District Delegate form by the deadline of April 20, 2013. Note that the delegate fee of $85 does not include the dinner/reception price for Saturday evening. The Hosting Chapter Chair Kostas will have that information to us by April 15th. Kosta is still finalizing that venue detail. Please inform all Members/Delegates at your next meeting.
Also note that Arcadian of the Year Nomination forms are due by May 20, 2013. Please e-mail your completed Nomination form and bio to the District Governor by the deadline date.
The Arcadians of Oakland, Skopi #85 invite you to their 68th Annual Macaronada Chicken Dinner and Apokriatiko Glendi on Saturday, March 9, 2012 in the Thomas Paris Room at the Ascension Cathedral. Cocktails will begin at 5:30 and dinner is at 7:00 pm. Dancing will begin at 9:30 with music provided by the Mythos band. Adults are $55 and children under 12 are $20.
