Dear Western District Chapter Officers and Members,
The Pan Arcadian Chapter #103-Theodoros Kolokotronis of San Jose is happy to announce the details of 58th Western District Convention. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Here are some important information:
A special rate of $130.00/night for Friday and Saturday nights has been reserved for attendees of the convention. Hotel reservations must be booked by April 13th, 2018 in order to secure the convention rate. You may book the hotel room with the following link:
Note that a limited number of rooms have now been made available for Sunday night at the special rate. However, these must also be booked by the April 13th deadline.
Delegate/Alternative/Observer forms must be received by April 20, 2018.
We are also offering an event package for those who would like to attend the evening events.
We have a fun filled weekend planned for everyone that includes a Welcome Reception Friday Night and a Glendi Saturday Night. Please download and review the documents to the right for further information.

Dear Arcadian Brothers and Sisters,
We cordially invite you to attend a special gathering hosted by the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America (PFA). We invite you to this first ever National Summit where Arcadians of all ages from every town, city, and region in the United States will gather to discuss ideas regarding the future of our organization and implement a new domestic agenda. This national summit is open to everyone of Arcadian descent regardless if you are a current member or not, as you will be able to sign up at the meeting.
The event will take place on January 26-28, 2018 at the Pan Arcadian National headquarters located at 880 York Road, Elmhurst, Illinois. An itinerary of the weekend’s festivities and events will be made available as soon as all details have been finalized. Hotel accommodations will be provided for by the PFA.

The Oakland Skopi #85 Chapter will host their annual Christmas party on Saturday, December 2, 2017, and their annual Macaronada Dinner & Apokriatiko Glendi will be on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Both events will be held at the Ascension Cathedral, 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland, CA.

The San Diego Tegea Chapter #101 Pan Arcadians are busily making plans for their annual fund raiser “Destiny of Distinction”. The gala will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 5:00 PM in the Cypress Room of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 3665 Park Blvd., San Diego.
The event will feature a social hour with appetizers and a full Greek dinner complete with wine, music and dancing. Tickets are $75 for adults $25 children under twelve. Reservations: Sam Tzathas (619) 917-9534 or Angie Georggin (619) 972-6410.
This year’s “Destiny of Distinction” recipients are Father Simeon Corona, Father Andrew Scordalakis, and Father Michael Sitaras. They will be honored for their services to our communities and their unfailing support of our organization and its charities. Our scholarship recipient, Mary Kathryn Fellios, will also be recognized that night.
Please support our scholarship fund by placing messages in our program book. Consider offering your greetings to the honorees or family members. You may also memorialize your loved ones. The United Arcadians of San Francisco Chapter #35 will be celebrating 85 years of Arcadians in San Francisco at their annual dinner dance on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

The Los Angeles Nea Mantineia Chapter #102 invites you to their 29th annual "Alosis tis Tripolis" celebration on Saturday, the 30th of September, at the Hall of Saint Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Church, 778 S. Rosemead Blvd., Pasadena, CA.
The social hour begins at 6 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm. Dinner includes traditional Greek food and desserts. The cost is $80 for adults, $40 for youth (under 25), and $25 for children under 12. The entertainment will include live Greek music!

The Arcadians of Denver are excited to announce that we will be having our annual scholarship picnic on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Brotherhood of Saint George Monastery, 361 Forest St. Denver, CO 80220, starting at 1:00 pm. This picnic will help us raise funds for the several scholarship awards our chapter gives out every year to our Blessed young adults who are starting their university education. These awards will help pay a little of their enormous expenses, in which every penny helps. So, please attend our family picnic after church service and enjoy some delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled-pork sandwiches, potatoes, salad, and desserts, with of course great Greek music.
So keep your Fourth of July spirit going just a little more and enjoy some more BBQ, and help us provide our loved and precious sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and grandkids, a supreme education, so that they will be successful and keep our Greek families, Orthodox religion, and culture strong and alive in the future.
