Salt Lake City PFA Theodoros Kolokotronis Chapter #90 Community Event - February 19, 2020
On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, the Salt Lake City PFA Chapter #90 hosted a community-wide event. The event was an educational tour of the famous Trolley Square History Museum. We learned a lot!
Utah played a key role in the history of electrical power. While Utah was still a federal territory, in 1880 the Salt Lake Power, Light, and Heating Company was formed. Following London, New York, San Francisco, and Cleveland, in 1881 Salt Lake City became the world's fifth city to electrify with a central station source of electricity.

NEA MANTINEIA #102 Los Angeles is hosting a SUMMER PAN ARCADIAN YOUTH BEACH DAY and inviting the young adults of the PFA West District to attend. A flyer with all the information is included with this email.
Please get this information out to the members of your chapter as soon as possible and spread the word since it will be on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Time is short. Although this is an event sponsored by the LA Chapter, it is something that members of all the chapters in the district can attend. While this is a YOUTH event, any age can attend, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
A day of fun, eating, swimming and meeting other Arcadians is in store.

Young Adults, ages 20-35 are invited to participate in a weekend of events in New York
Schedule is as follows:
Friday, April 12th – Meet & Greet/Welcome Reception at Geros tou Morea House 7pm
Saturday, April 13th – Youth Forum 10 am
Saturday, April 13th – Greek Night time TBA
Sunday, April 14th – Greek Independence Day Parade, buses will leave the Geros tou Morea house at 11:30 am - Luncheon at the Geros tou Morea House - An “After Parade Party” (optional) in the evening with a performance from a well-known Greek artist
Young Adult (20-35 yo)—or one of their parents—need to be a member in good standing of a PFA
chapter to be eligible to participate.
West District is able to send five (5) young adults who will receive $600 each for their travel expenses and partial hotel accommodations.

The Los Angeles Nea Mantineia Chapter #102 invites you to their 30th annual "Alosis tis Tripolis" celebration on Saturday, the 8th of September, at Saint John's Greek Orthodox Church, 405 N Dale Ave, Anaheim, CA.
The social hour begins at 6 pm and dinner is served at 7 pm. Dinner includes traditional Greek food and desserts. The cost is $80 for adults, $40 for youth (under 25), and $25 for children under 12. We will have a guest speaker and the entertainment will include live Greek music! The proceeds will help us support UCLA's Stavros Niarchos Hellenic Cultural Studies Center.

The 74th National Convention of the P.FA will take place in New York from November 15 - 18, 2018. The Convention is being organized under the aegis of the Eastern District of the PFA and is being co-hosted by the three PFA Chapters in the New York metro area, "Geros Tou Morea", "Eparhia Kynourias" and "Athena Mutual Society".
The Convention is going to take place at the Marriot LaGuardia Hotel. We have secured a discounted rate of $140 plus tax for one bed rooms and $150 plus tax for two bed rooms. More details about the reservations will follow shortly.
According to our constitution two months before the Convention, which is September 15th, all delegates must be registered and paid their registration fee of $250. Please make checks payable to P.F.A. 74th National Convention and mail to 880 North York Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126.

Dear Western District Chapter Officers and Members,
The Pan Arcadian Chapter #103-Theodoros Kolokotronis of San Jose is happy to announce the details of 58th Western District Convention. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Here are some important information:
A special rate of $130.00/night for Friday and Saturday nights has been reserved for attendees of the convention. Hotel reservations must be booked by April 13th, 2018 in order to secure the convention rate. You may book the hotel room with the following link:
Note that a limited number of rooms have now been made available for Sunday night at the special rate. However, these must also be booked by the April 13th deadline.
Delegate/Alternative/Observer forms must be received by April 20, 2018.
We are also offering an event package for those who would like to attend the evening events.
We have a fun filled weekend planned for everyone that includes a Welcome Reception Friday Night and a Glendi Saturday Night. Please download and review the documents to the right for further information.

Dear Arcadian Brothers and Sisters,
We cordially invite you to attend a special gathering hosted by the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America (PFA). We invite you to this first ever National Summit where Arcadians of all ages from every town, city, and region in the United States will gather to discuss ideas regarding the future of our organization and implement a new domestic agenda. This national summit is open to everyone of Arcadian descent regardless if you are a current member or not, as you will be able to sign up at the meeting.
The event will take place on January 26-28, 2018 at the Pan Arcadian National headquarters located at 880 York Road, Elmhurst, Illinois. An itinerary of the weekend’s festivities and events will be made available as soon as all details have been finalized. Hotel accommodations will be provided for by the PFA.
